Technological advancements should benefit everyone equally. In line with this vision, Samsung Electronics is evolving beyond simply reducing the burden of household chores to become “a companion for everyone” that delivers greater convenience in everyday life. These efforts were recognized at the prestigious iF Design Awards 2026 and IDEA Awards 2025, where Samsung was honored for its accessibility-related features and inclusive design concepts.
Samsung continues to apply inclusive design across its home appliances by integrating a wide range of visual, auditory and sensory experiences. From older adults to users with disabilities, the company carefully considers even the smallest inconveniences users may encounter throughout every interaction with its products.
In particular, Samsung has extended Relumino outline — an accessibility feature designed to assist users with low vision — to screen-equipped appliances, helping them enjoy a consistent accessibility experience regardless of which Samsung device they use.
Additional features all contribute to a more inclusive appliance ecosystem. These include Auto Open Door, which opens doors with a simple voice command and Easy mode for more intuitive interaction with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo’s 7-inch Smart Screen. Samsung also supports accessibility setting sync between screen-equipped appliances and smartphones, so users can enjoy a consistent experience across devices.
