The Bureau International des Expositions, the organizer of the World Expo, will visit South Korea for an on-site inspection in a few days. The city of Busan is competing with Rome, Riyadh, and Odesa to host the 2030 World Expo.
In preparation for the visit, a large-scale exhibition has been launched in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square. The square has been decorated with blue roses, symbolizing hope and aspiration for Busan to become the venue for the 2030 World Expo. The exhibition showcases Korea’s dedication to hosting the event and highlights the three themes of the 2030 Busan World Expo: technology for humanity, sustainable living with nature, and a platform for caring and sharing.
The five-day exhibition has attracted large crowds and gives an indication of Korea’s ability to host the 2030 World Expo.
